I’m Back!

Wow, I didn’t realize it’s been so long since my last post! Thanks Jodi for the reminder. :) So…let’s see. What’s all happened since May??? For starters, I left my spot on the Stone Accents Studio Creative Team (which is why I haven’t posted anything!). I just do not have enough time anymore to get the required layouts done. And honestly, I don’t miss it that much. It was great to get free products, but at the end I felt like I was just doing the pages “to get them done” & not really doing my best on them. So now I can just scrap for the fun of it again & get caught up on the kids’ books. Plus I can use some of the supplies I have stored on my flash drive. :) I have not done a single layout since May—can you believe that?!?! Really should get some done before I get too far behind. :)

Other than that news, I guess nothing too exciting has been happening here. Every day life mostly. We’re busy planning Caleb’s 7th birthday party—he wants a Super Mario Bros. theme. I’m gonna work on the invitations tonight. Speaking of Caleb—he got his thumb in the car door Monday night. Boy did he SCREAM!! When we took the band-aid off yesterday, it looked pretty gross. We left the band-aid off for awhile & then it started to look a little better. Here’s a couple pics—the second one shows his thumb so if you are squeamish, you might want to skip that one.

We dog-sat for some friends. Charlotte stayed with us for 11 days. The kids did such a good job of taking care of her. They took her for walks & played with her. Carried her all over the house like a baby! :)

Not much else to say…hopefully I’ll be better about updating my blog more often! I’ll leave you with a few pictures I took last night after the storm went through. The sky was GORGEOUS!!

Just gotta write a little about our Memorial Weekend activities! :) We had a campout in our backyard. When I got home from work on Sunday, we set up the tent. After that we went to the new park in town & played for awhile. Jesse grilled brats & hot dogs for supper. Later that night, we had a little bonfire & made s’mores. We ALL slept in the tent Sunday night—even Jesse and I. Yesterday we did a little road-trippin’ & ended up at the river by Delhi. Kids had fun till Caleb fell in the water. :) I’m gonna try to put a link in here to my pictures on Facebook…we’ll see if that works. Click here to see the pictures.

She’s growing up so fast! Speaking of growing up too fast, tomorrow is my 31st birthday…how did that happen already??? Just my luck too that I would come down with this awful cold right before my birthday. Tomorrow night hubby & I are going to a Gary Allen concert! I don’t really listen to any other country music (just him) but he is HOT!!! Should be fun. This weekend we’re going to take the kids to a hotel for some swimming & relaxation. Yay…more pictures to scrap! Have a great weekend…I know I will! :)
